Vic: Chief moves to sack charged constable
Another Victorian policeman looks set to be dismissed under the Commissioner's no-confidence
powers .. after facing 13 charges including burglary .. blackmail and drug offences.
He's the second officer facing the sack from Chief Commissioner CHRISTINE NIXON ..
in less than a month.
The 32-year-old constable .. from an inner suburban station .. has been suspended without
pay after last month's charges.
Victoria Police say he's been issued with a notice today .. to show cause why he should
not be dismissed from the force.
He has 21 days to respond.
On March 27 .. Ms NIXON used the no-confidence powers to sack a suburban senior sergeant
.. whose case is still pending.
