Some of the shoppers who turned in Price Chopper cash register receipts for certificates entitling them to low-priced airline tickets to Florida are being left back in the cold.
Certificates for the troubled program are no longer being honored, but Price Chopper is assuring participants who already requested airline tickets from a designated travel agency that they will get flights.
Bottom line: If you redeemed your certificates for reservations, you will be going to Florida, Price Chopper says. If you're still holding onto the certificates, you might as well burn them for heat this winter. …
